Nanganallur
Nanganallur or Nangainallur is one of the southern neighbourhoods of Chennai, India. Since September 2011, it has become a part of Chennai Corporation. It is a residential area close to the Chennai International Airport. In Tamil language, Tamil language, Nangainallur (= Nangai + Nallur) means place of good-natured women. Demographics India census, Nanganallur had a population of 86,230. As a result of Chennai's booming IT business and setting up of IT parks in the suburbs, a lot of people moved in to suburbs like Nanganallur. Towards the end of 2009, it was announced that the Chennai Corporation would be expanded to cover the surrounding 42 local bodies. This was confirmed by the new government in 2011. Nanganallur has thus become a part of Chennai Corporation from September 2011. Adambakkam
Adambakkam is a neighbourhood of Chennai, India. It is primarily a residential locality situated in South Chennai . Adambakkam area comes under Velachery taluk and Alandur taluk, Chennai District of Chennai Corporation. Adambakkam is surrounded by areas namely, Alandur in the North-West, Nanganallur in the West, Madipakkam in the South, Velachery in the East and Guindy in the North. Earlier, one part of Adambakkam was under the direct governance of Chennai Corporation. From October 2011 onwards, the entire area was merged with the Chennai Corporation. Palavanthangal
Pazhavanthangal (also called Palavanthangal) is a southern neighbourhood of Chennai, India. It is served by the Pazhavanthangal railway station of the Beach-Tambaram suburban railway route in Chennai. It is one of the neighborhoods that is very close to the Chennai International Airport. It comes under the Alandur constituency. Named after the small settlement with the same name adjoining the station, the railway station also caters to the bigger region of Nanganallur. Keelkattalai (also written as Kilkattalai or Keezhkattalai) is a suburb in the south of Chennai, Tamil Nadu under the Tambaram Municipal Corporation. Meenambakkam is a southern neighbourhood of Chennai in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is home to Chennai International Airport, the Airports Authority of India regional office, and the DGQA Complex. It was under the reign of the Pallava kingdom. Madipakkam is residential locality situated in south of Chennai, India. It has been recently placed under the Greater Chennai Corporation. Puzhuthivakkam
Puzhuthivakkam, commonly known as Ullagaram or Ullagaram–Puzhuthivakkam, is a southern neighbourhood of Chennai in Tamil Nadu, India. Puzhuthivakkam loosely translates to dust neighborhood. The neighbourhood is part of the Greater Chennai Corporation, following Chennai's expansion into Kanchipuram district. Pallavaram (originally Pallava Puram) is a residential neighborhood of Chennai, India. Pallavaram was a part of Alandur until August 2015 and since then a new taluk with headquarters at Pallavaram was created. Tirusulam is a neighbourhood in Chennai, India. For administrative purposes, it is a census town in Chennai. The Chennai International Airport is located here opposite the Tirusulam Railway station, with the cargo terminal located at the adjacent Meenambakkam. St Thomas Mount
Parangimalai (known in English as St. Thomas Mount) is a small hillock in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, near the neighbourhood of Guindy and very close to Chennai International Airport. The ancient Syrian Christian community of India trace the origin of their church to St. Thomas the Apostle. From the 17th century, this part of Chennai was populated predominantly by Anglo-Indians. Anna International Airport
Chennai International Airport is an international airport serving the city of Chennai, Tamil Nadu and its metropolitan area. It is located in Tirusulam, southwest of the city centre. Chennai International Airport is the sixth busiest airport in India and third busiest airport for international traffic in India.
