Nanga-Boguila is a sub-prefecture of Ouham in the Central African Republic. Geography The commune of Nanga Boguila is located in the north-west of the Ouham prefecture. It is crossed by the axis Nana-Bakassa - Boguila - Bongaro 1, national highway RN1. Population In 2003, the population was 23,982 people. History Nanga Boguila is erected in sub-prefecture of Ouham since May 2, 2002 by division of southern part of the sub-prefecture of Markounda. Ouham

Central African Patriotic Movement (MPC, french: Mouvement patriotique pour la Centrafrique) is a rebel group in the Central African Republic based in nortwestern part of the country. History MPC was formed in July 2015 by Mahamat Al-Khatim. In October 2016 they were accused in taking part in attack which killed 37 civilians, however Al-Khatim denied these claims. Return, Reclamation, Rehabilitation (3R, french: Retour, Réclamation et Réhabilitation) is a rebel group in the northwestern part of Central African Republic. History The group was formed in December 2015 to protect Fulani herders from Anti-balaka militia attacks. On 27 September 2016, they captured the town of De Gaulle (now Koui) killing at least 17 civilians.
