Return, Reclamation, Rehabilitation (3R, french: Retour, Réclamation et Réhabilitation) is a rebel group in the northwestern part of Central African Republic. History The group was formed in December 2015 to protect Fulani herders from Anti-balaka militia attacks. On 27 September 2016, they captured the town of De Gaulle (now Koui) killing at least 17 civilians. On 2 May they captured Niem in Koui sub-prefecture.Amnesty InternationalCENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC 2017/2018 On 23 September 2017, they captured Bocaranga from opposing rebel group Anti-balaka. They transferred the town over to FACA on 7 January 2019. On 21 May 2019, 3R fighters killed 46 unarmed civilians in Ouham-Pendé prefecture. On 13 July, a UN peacekeeper was killed and two others were wounded in an ambush set up by the 3R militia. On 1 May 2020, 3R took control of Baboua, withdrawing from it four days later. Baboua, Central African Republic
Baboua is a town and an administrative area ( sub-prefecture) located within the prefecture of Nana-Mambéré in the Central African Republic (CAR), approximately north-west of Bangui, the nation's capital. The town is located on the CAR's border with Cameroon, and is across the border from the Cameroonian town of Garoua-Boulaï. Baboua is home to the Evangelical Lutheran Seminary and Lutheran Bible School. Tongo Lutheran Church is also located in Baboua. History Since around 2013 Baboua area had been under control of FDPC armed group. On 16 July 2015 multiple people including major, sub-prefect and priest were kidnapped by FDPC in Baboua. They were released in July 2016. In May 2017 it was reported that Baboua was under control of security forces. On 1 May 2020 3R rebel group took control of Baboua. They withdrew on 5 May. Bossembélé
Bossembélé is a small town in Yaloke-Bossembele, in the Ombella-M'Poko Prefecture of the Central African Republic, lying 157 miles north west of Bangui on the main road to Cameroon. It is known for its Market (place), market and its Nightlife (activity), nightlife and is home to a movie theater, cinema and an Bossembélé Airport, airstrip. The Lambi Falls lie near the town. History On 23 March 2013 Séléka rebels took control of Bossembélé. On 16 January 2014 anti-balaka entered the town killing 43 people. In July 2017 it was reported that it was under control of security forces. On 18 December 2020 Coalition of Patriots for Change took control of Bossembélé. Ngaoundaye is a Sub-prefectures of the Central African Republic, sub-prefecture of Lim-Pendé in the Central African Republic. Geography Ngaoundaye is located near the borders of Chad and Cameroon : 5 km from Chad, 20 km from Cameroon, 70 km from Bocaranga and 600 km northwest of Bangui . History The locality is erected in sub-prefecture of Ouham-Pendé on May 2, 2002 by dismemberment of the sub-prefecture of Bocaranga. Nana-Bakassa
Nana-Bakassa is a sub-prefecture of Ouham in the Central African Republic. Geography The locality located on the left bank of the Nana Bakassa River, a tributary of Ouham, is crossed by the RN1 road connecting Bossangoa to the Chadian border. In 2014, the population of the locality is estimated at 7,516 inhabitants. The commune of Nana-Bakassa is located in the center of the prefecture of Ouham, it is surrounded by 6 neighboring communes. Boguila
Boguila is a village located in the Central African Republic prefecture of Ouham-Pendé. It should not be confused with the town of Boguila in Ouham prefecture. According to Medecins Sans Frontieres, Since the coup d’état in March 2013, Boguila has been unstable with increasing tensions and violence. In August 2013, a peak of violence provoked a massive population displacement in the area. In December 2013, Muslims fleeing violence from Nana Bakassa sought refuge with host families in Boguila before moving further north. Between January and October 2013, approximately 95,000 people in the areas surrounding the town received treatment for malaria. On April 11, 2014, "nearly 7000 people fled to the bush after fighting erupted in Boguila."
