''Nalugu Stambhalata'' is a 1982 Telugu language, Telugu-language romantic drama film directed by Jandhyala starring Naresh (actor), Naresh, Poornima (Telugu actress), Poornima, Pradeep Kondiparthi, and Tulasi (actress), Tulasi. The music was composed by Rajan–Nagendra. V. B. Rajendra Prasad remade the film in Hindi as ''Bekaraar'' in 1983. Jandhyala
Jandhyala Subrahmanya Sastry (14 January 1951 – 19 June 2001), known mononymously by his surname Jandhyala, was an Indian film director, screenwriter, playwright, and actor known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He is popularly known as Hasya Brahma (). In a career spanning more than two decades, he directed over 40 films and wrote the dialogue for more than 300 films. He won three state Nandi Awards one each for Best Director, Best Story Writer, and Best Dialogue Writer and one Filmfare Award for Best Director – Telugu. ''The Hindu'' referred to him as the 'King of Comedy in Tollywood'. Jandhyala was interested in theatre right from his childhood. In his college days, he wrote many plays that became popular. Bayalu Daari () is a 1976 Indian Kannada-language film directed and produced by the Dorai–Bhagavan duo. It is based on the novel of the same name by Bharathi Sutha. The film starred Anant Nag, Kalpana and K. S. Ashwath. The film was a musical blockbuster with all songs composed by Rajan–Nagendra considered evergreen hits. Vijaya Krishna Naresh (born 20 January 1964), known mononymously as Naresh, is an Indian actor, politician and social activist known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema and television. He began acting as a child in 1970, and starred in around 200 films in a variety of roles as both lead and supporting actor.
