Shailendra Singh (singer)
Shailendra Singh is an Indian playback singer and actor. He sang several Hindi and a few Marathi songs during the late 1970s and early 1980s. He was very close to Mehmood Ali. Early life Shailendra Singh was born on 4 October 1952 in Mumbai, India to a Punjabi family. He studied at Hill Grange High School at Peddar Road, and did his graduation from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. He then joined the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune to train as an actor. He also learnt classical Hindustani music from a Guru. He first break as a playback singer in the film, Bobby, during his second year at the FTII. Career Shailendra Singh had many hit songs to his credit. Raj Kapoor gave Singh a break when he signed him for ''Bobby''. The song "Main Shayar To Nahin" became a big hit. His song "Humne Tumko Dekha" from the film '' Khel Khel Mein'' rocked the entire nation. Mohnish Bahl (born 14 August 1961) is an Indian actor working in the Indian film industry and on Indian television. Career Mohnish Bahl debuted with the film ''Bekarar'' in a supporting role opposite Padmini Kolhapure and co Starring Sanjay Dutt but the film was a critical and commercial failure. Padmini Kolhapure is an Indian actress and singer, who works primarily in Hindi films. She began her acting career in 1972 at the age of seven, and her early works include ''Zindagi'' (1976) and ''Dream Girl'' (1977). Chand Usmani (3 January 1933 – 26 November 1989) was an Indian actress in Hindi films from the 1950s to the late 1980s. She won the 1971 Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress. She is best remembered for playing self-sacrificing wives and mothers. Biography Chandbibi Khanam Usmani was born on 3 January 1933 in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, into a Pashtun family.
