NBC Kids
NBC Kids was an American Saturday morning children's television programming block that aired on NBC from July 7, 2012 to September 25, 2016. Telemundo also aired a version of the block under the "MiTelemundo" title, which featured a separate lineup of Spanish-dubbed programs until December 31, 2017. NBC Kids, which replaced the Qubo block (as a result of NBCUniversal dropping out of the joint venture, which also included Ion Media Networks), was programmed by the other Sprout preschool cable network, as they were both targeted at children ages 2 to 6. The three-hour block featured educational entertainment series for younger children, which met programming requirements defined by the Federal Communications Commission's Children's Television Act. Universal Kids
Universal Kids is an American children's television Specialty channel, channel owned by the NBCUniversal Television and Streaming unit of Comcast's NBCUniversal. The channel launched on September 26, 2005, as PBS Kids Sprout, a preschool-oriented channel jointly operated by PBS, Comcast, Sesame Workshop, and HIT Entertainment, as an offshoot of the PBS Kids brand. After the acquisition of NBC Universal by Comcast in 2011, the company began to buy out the remaining owners' shares in the network. Floogals
''Floogals'' is a British live-action/animated television series aimed at preschoolers, produced by Nevision Studios, Jellyfish Pictures and Zodiak Kids, with concepts from Absolutely Cuckoo. Sprout (now Universal Kids), a children's TV channel in the United States which commissioned the series, also participated in the production. The series was developed by Ceri Barnes, Lee Walters, Nigel Pickard and Rick Gitelson, from an original idea by Dan Good (who created ''Waybuloo''). Production took place in London during 2014 and 2015 with all CGI animation by Jellyfish Pictures. ''Nina's World'' is an animated children's television series. It is a prequel to Sprout network's preceding and very first ever programming block, The Good Night Show, focusing on host Nina, as a 6-year-old Latina who lives with her family in Chicago, IL. It premiered on September 26, 2015 on the Sprout network. This incarnation of Nina was introduced by Cat Greenleaf in August 2015. The series was Gabe Khouth's final voice acting role as he played an incidental character. Plot Nina's World follows the adventures of Nina as a six-year-old girl in the city of Chicago. ''Ruff-Ruff, Tweet and Dave'' is an interactive animated children's television series which premiered in the United Kingdom on CBeebies in 2015. Hulu acquired the streaming rights in 2016. Production ceased on new episodes when Universal Kids stopped developing original shows in 2019. Synopsis In each episode, Ruff-Ruff, Tweet and Dave are called out by Hatty the Hamster to go on adventures with him. A few times in each episode, Hatty will ask a question. The three title characters will give their answers, but only one of them is correct. Hatty then asks the viewers which of the three gave the correct answer to his question. ''The Chica Show'' is an American live-action/animated children's television series based on the puppetry segments of ''The Sunny Side Up Show'' on Sprout, which features the chicken puppet character Chica in full episodic and animated adventures rather than the traditional continuity of ''The Sunny Side Up Show''.
