München-Laim Marshalling Yard
Munich-Laim station is a station on the trunk line of the Munich S-Bahn between Munich Central Station (german: Hauptbahnhof) and München-Pasing station. It is part of a large rail precinct, including Munich Laim marshalling yard. It has three platform tracks and is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 3 station. History South of the marshalling yard, the Laim passenger station was built above the new Laim subway. On 30 August 1894, the station was opened as the temporary terminus of the double-track suburban railway, which connected the Central Station with Laim parallel to the long-distance railway tracks. On 1 May 1895, the extension of the suburban railway to Pasing station went into operation. The station consisted of a double-track island platform, located to the west of the later S-Bahn island platform, and a main service building. Trunk Line 2 (german: Zweite Stammstrecke, translation=Second Trunk Line) is an under-construction double track commuter rail tunnel in the Bavarian capital of Munich, Germany. Deisenhofen Station
Deisenhofen is a Munich S-Bahn railway station in Deisenhofen, a district of Oberhaching. History Deisenhofen station was opened in 1862 on the Munich–Holzkirchen section of the Bavarian Maximilian Railway. Since 10 October 1898 there has also been a connection to Munich East station, the Munich East–Deisenhofen railway. Since 1972, the station has been integrated in the network of the Munich S-Bahn.
