Boa Esporte Clube, commonly known as just Boa Esporte or Boa, is a Brazilian football club from Varginha, Minas Gerais state. The club was formerly known as Ituiutaba Esporte Clube. History The club was founded on 30 April 1947, in Ituiutaba city, as Ituiutaba Esporte Clube. They won the Campeonato Mineiro Módulo II in 2004, and the Taça Minas Gerais in 2007. They lost the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C to ABC Futebol Clube in 2010. During the 2011 season, the club played in Varginha, adopting the name Boa Esporte Clube, and will return to Ituiutaba after the new stadium is built. The Campeonato Cearense is the football league of the state of Ceará, Brazil. Format The Campeonato Cearense has three divisions with the following division and format (as in any other Brazilian soccer championship, the format can change every year): First Division The ten clubs play two legs. In each leg there are three stages: *First stage: All teams play each other one time. *Second stage: Two-legged knockout with the top 4 teams of the first stage (1st x 4th and 2nd x 3rd). *Third stage: Two-legged knockout with the second stage winners. The winners of the third stage are leg champions. The two leg champions decide the state championship final in two games. Campeonato Mineiro is the state football league of the state of Minas Gerais and is controlled by the Minas Gerais Football Federation FMF (Federação Mineira de Futebol). The history of Campeonato Mineiro can be divided into two parts: before and after the construction of the Mineirão, in September 1966. The Mineirão is the biggest football stadium of Minas Gerais and it is located in Minas Gerais' state capital, Belo Horizonte. Before the stadium's inauguration América and Atlético were the most successful teams in the state, but after the construction of the Mineirão, known as the "Era Mineirão" ("Mineirão Era"), another team from the capital, Cruzeiro, also gained prominence. Pinheiro Atlético Clube, simply known as Pinheiros, is a Brazilian football club based in Pinheiro, Maranhão state. Founded in 1989, they currently play in the Campeonato Maranhense. History Founded on 1 April 1989, Pinheiro played in the 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1993 editions of Campeonato Maranhense before going into inactivity. The club returned to an active status only in 2016, playing in the Maranhense Segunda Divisão, where they lost the title and the promotion to Americano. Guarany Sporting Club, commonly known as Guarany de Sobral or just as Guarany, is a Brazilian football club from Sobral, Ceará state. They competed once in the Série B and in the Série C, and won the Série D once.
