Miss Paraná is a Brazilian Beauty pageant which selects the representative for the State of Paraná at the Miss Brazil Miss Brazil ( pt, Miss Brasil) is a Brazilian national beauty pageant, held annually since 1954. The competition has gone through several incarnations throughout its history, while its main purpose has been to select the Brazilian representative ... contest. The pageant was created in 1955 and has been held every year since with the exception of 1990-1991, and 1993. The pageant is held annually with representation of several municipalities. Since 2021, the State director of Miss Paraná is, Cristina Ranzani. A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. The term beauty pageant refers originally to the Big Four international beauty pageants. Pageant titles are subdivided into Miss, Mrs. or Ms., and Teen – to clearly identify the difference between pageant divisions. Miss Brazil 2018
Miss Brazil 2018 ( pt, Miss Brasil 2018), officially Miss Brazil Be Emotion 2018 ( pt, Miss Brasil Be Emotion 2018), was the 64th edition of the Miss Brazil pageant. It was held on 26 May 2018 at Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro, and was hosted by Cássio Reis and Maria Eugênia Suconic. Monalysa Alcântara of Piauí crowned her successor Mayra Dias of Amazonas at the end of the event. Dias represented Brazil at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant and placed Top 20. Carambeí
Carambeí is a municipality in the state of Paraná in the Southern Region of Brazil. The city originated from a farm that was an obligatory stop on the Caminho do Viamão between the central-west region of Rio Grande do Sul and the state of São Paulo. Miss Universe 2016 was the 65th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Mall of Asia Arena, in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines on January 30, 2017.
