Miss Brazil 2018 ( pt, Miss Brasil 2018), officially Miss Brazil Be Emotion 2018 ( pt, Miss Brasil Be Emotion 2018), was the 64th edition of the Miss Brazil pageant. It was held on 26 May 2018 at Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro, and was hosted by Cássio Reis and Maria Eugênia Suconic. Monalysa Alcântara of Piauí crowned her successor Mayra Dias of Amazonas at the end of the event. Dias represented Brazil at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant and placed Top 20. Mayra Benita Alves Dias (born 28 September 1991) is a Brazilian model and beauty pageant titleholder. She was crowned Miss Brasil 2018 on 26 May 2018, becoming the second representative from Amazonas (Brazilian state), Amazonas. She represented Brazil at the Miss Universe 2018, where she finished as a Top 20 semifinalist. Early life Dias was born in Itacoatiara, Amazonas, Itacoatiara, a city in the interior of the state of Amazonas (Brazilian state), Amazonas. She has Indigenous ancestry. Miss Brazil CNB 2019 was the 30th edition of the Miss Brazil CNB pageant and the 5th under CNB Miss Brazil. The contest took place on September 3, 2019. Each state, the Federal District and various Insular Regions & Cities competed for the title. Jéssica Carvalho of Piauí crowned her successor, Elís Miele Coelho of Espírito Santo at the end of the contest. Miele represented Brazil at Miss World 2019. Ipatinga is a municipality in eastern Minas Gerais state, Brazil. The city was founded on 29 April 1964 and covers a total area of . Its population is 267,333 as of 2021. Três Lagoas ("Three Ponds") is a municipality in Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. It is the third most populous city in that state. Founded in 1915, colonization began in 1880 by Luís Correia Neves Filho, Antônio Trajano dos Santos e Protásio Garcia Leal. It is named for three lakes in the region. Marechal Floriano is the capital of a municipality of the same name, in the state of Espírito Santo, Brazil. Once part of the municipality of Domingos Martins, the town of Marechal Floriano separated on October 31, 1991, becoming capital of its own municipality. Miss Brazil 2021
Miss Brazil 2021 ( pt, Miss Brasil 2021), officially Miss Universe Brazil 2021 ( pt, Miss Universo Brasil 2021), was the 66th edition of the Miss Brazil pageant, and the first under the new Miss Universe Brazil management. The competition was filmed on 7 November 2021 on board the ''MSC Preziosa'', and aired on 9 November. In order to preserve the secrecy of the results before its airdate, crowning moments for all three finalists were filmed, while only the one of the winner was aired. Teresa Santos of Ceará was crowned as the winner and successor of Julia Gama of Rio Grande do Sul. Gama did not crown Santos as Miss Brazil amidst controversy between herself and the pageant organizers. Santos competed at Miss Universe 2021, but was unplaced.
