Miss Earth México is an annual beauty pageant in Mexico. The winner of Miss Earth Mexico obtains the right to represent the country in the Miss Earth pageant, the third most important beauty festival in the world, where the goal is to promote environmental protection. History Miss Earth México, based in Mérida, Yucatán, is organized by the national director Paul Marsell. The pageant was established in order to elect Mexico's representative in the annual Miss Earth pageant and to promote environmental awareness and protection. Miss Earth Mexico was founded in 2002, but the first national contest was not held until 2007. Titleholders prior to 2007 were chosen by the organizers in a private selection process. Mexico was first represented in Miss Earth 2002 by Libna Viruega Roldán from Distrito Federal, who was the first titleholder of Miss Earth Mexico. Miss Earth 2020
Miss Earth 2020, the 20th anniversary of the Miss Earth pageant, the first virtual coronation of any major pageant in the world. The pageant was held on 29 November 2020 where Miss Earth 2019 Nellys Pimentel of Puerto Rico was succeeded by Lindsey Coffey of the United States at the end of the event. This marked the first time a delegate representing the United States won Miss Earth, becoming the fourth country to win all of the Big Four international beauty pageants at least once. In the same event, other elemental winners were also crowned: Stephany Zreik of Venezuela won Miss Earth – Air, Roxanne Baeyens of the Philippines as Miss Earth – Water, and Michala Rubinstein of Denmark as Miss Earth – Fire. Miss Earth 2021
Miss Earth 2021 was the 21st edition of the Miss Earth pageant, held virtually on November 21, 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. At the end of the event, Lindsey Coffey of the United States crowned Destiny Wagner of Belize as Miss Earth 2021. This is the first time Belize won the Miss Earth pageant, and any of the Big Four international beauty pageants. Miss Earth 2022 was the 22nd Miss Earth pageant, held on November 29, 2022, at the Okada Manila in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines. Miss Earth 2008, the 8th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, was held on November 9, 2008, at the Clark Expo Amphitheater in Angeles City, Philippines.
