Miss Earth 2023 will be the 23rd Miss Earth pageant to be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on 22 December 2023. Mina Sue Choi of South Korea will crown her successor at the end of the event. Background Location and date On 18 July 2022 in Ho Chi Minh City, Lorraine Schuck, co-founder of the Miss Earth Organization, announced that Miss Earth 2023 would be held in Vietnam for a second time, the first being held in 2010. The pageant will take place at an 8,000-seater theater in Nha Trang, Khánh Hòa, On 21 July 2023, the Miss Earth Organization announced that the pageant will take place on 16 December 2023. However, on 11 September 2023, the Miss Earth Organization announced that the pageant will take place on 22 December instead of 16 December, and the venue was relocated to the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City to accommodate a larger audience. Miss Earth Albania, formerly "Miss Shqiptarja", is the national beauty pageant preliminary of Miss Earth in Albania. The winner represents Albania to the Miss Earth pageant from 2006 to 2009. Miss Earth 2021
Miss Earth 2021 was the 21st edition of the Miss Earth pageant, held virtually on November 21, 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. At the end of the event, Lindsey Coffey of the United States crowned Destiny Wagner of Belize as Miss Earth 2021. This is the first time Belize won the Miss Earth pageant, and any of the Big Four international beauty pageants. In the same event, other elemental winners were also crowned: Marisa Butler of the United States won Miss Earth – Air, Romina Denecken of Chile as Miss Earth – Water, and Jareerat Petsom of Thailand as Miss Earth – Fire. Miss Earth 2020
Miss Earth 2020, the 20th anniversary of the Miss Earth pageant, the first virtual coronation of any major pageant in the world. The pageant was held on 29 November 2020 where Miss Earth 2019 Nellys Pimentel of Puerto Rico was succeeded by Lindsey Coffey of the United States at the end of the event. This marked the first time a delegate representing the United States won Miss Earth, becoming the fourth country to win all of the Big Four international beauty pageants at least once. In the same event, other elemental winners were also crowned: Stephany Zreik of Venezuela won Miss Earth – Air, Roxanne Baeyens of the Philippines as Miss Earth – Water, and Michala Rubinstein of Denmark as Miss Earth – Fire.
