Ligia Deca is a Romanian politician and expert in educational policies. On 3 October 2022, she was sworn in as Minister of Education in Ciucă Cabinet, after the resignation of Sorin Cîmpeanu. Biography Ligia Deca was a student at the Faculty of Navigation and Naval Transport within the Maritime University of Constanța. She completed her master's studies in the field of maritime and port management at the same university. The Christian Democratic National Peasants' Party ( ro, Partidul Național Țărănesc Creștin Democrat, officially abbreviated PNȚCD) is a Christian democratic and agrarian political party in Romania. It claims to be the rightful successor of the interwar ''National Peasants' Party'' (PNȚ), created from the merger of the Romanian National Party (PNR) from the then Austro-Hungarian-ruled Transylvania and the Peasants' Party (PȚ) from the Romanian Old Kingdom. National Liberal Party (Romania)
The National Liberal Party ( ro, Partidul Național Liberal, PNL) is a liberal-conservative political party in Romania (and the second largest overall political party in the country as of 2022). Re-founded in mid January 1990, shortly after the Revolution of 1989 which culminated in the fall of communism in Romania, it claims the legacy of the major political party of the same name, active between 1875 and 1947 in the Kingdom of Romania. Cristian Mihai Adomniței (; born April 24, 1975) is a Romanian engineer and politician. A member of the National Liberal Party (PNL), he has been a member of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies for Iași County since 2004. In the Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu cabinet, he served as Minister of Education from 2007 to 2008. Mircea Miclea (born 8 November 1963) is a Romanian professor, psychologist and politician. Born in Cioara, Alba County, he is the professor and director of The Centre for Applied Cognitive Psychology, at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. Alexandru Athanasiu (; born 1 January 1955) is a Romanian politician and jurist.
