Micah Kai Lynette
Micah Kai Lynette (born March 17, 2001) is a Thai-American figure skater. He is the 2019 Southeast Asian Games bronze medalist and has competed in the final segment at three ISU Championships – 2018 Junior Worlds, 2019 Four Continents, and 2020 Four Continents. Personal life Lynette was born March 17, 2001, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is the son of Fai, originally from Thailand, and Ethan Lynette, and has two siblings – twin brother Shane and younger sister Sasha. In 2019, he graduated from Sehome High School in Bellingham, Washington. Career Early years Lynette started skating as a seven-year-old, in 2001. As a child, he skated at Bellingham Sportsplex in Bellingham, Washington. The 2019 World Junior Figure Skating Championships were held in Zagreb, Croatia from 4 to 10 March 2019. The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating (titled the ISU Junior Series in the 1997–98 season) is a series of international junior-level competitions organized by the International Skating Union. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The series was inaugurated in 1997 to complement the senior-level ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. George Gershwin
George Gershwin (; born Jacob Gershwine; September 26, 1898 – July 11, 1937) was an American composer and pianist whose compositions spanned popular, jazz and classical genres. Concerto in F is a composition by George Gershwin for solo piano and orchestra which is closer in form to a traditional concerto than his earlier jazz-influenced ''Rhapsody in Blue''. It was written in 1925 on a commission from the conductor and director Walter Damrosch. It is just over half an hour long. Genesis of the Concerto Damrosch had been present at the February 12, 1924 concert arranged and conducted by Paul Whiteman at Aeolian Hall in New York City titled ''An Experiment in Modern Music'' which became famous for the premiere of Gershwin's ''Rhapsody in Blue'', in which the composer performed the piano solo. Vicente Amigo Girol (born 25 March 1967) is a Spanish flamenco composer and guitarist, born in Guadalcanal near Seville. He has played as an accompanying guitarist on recordings by flamenco singers Camarón de la Isla, and Luis de Córdoba, and he has acted as a producer for Remedios Amaya and José Mercé. His album ''Ciudad de las Ideas'' won the 2001 Latin Grammy for the Best Flamenco Album and the 2002 Ondas award for the best Flamenco work. The short program of figure skating is the first of two segments of competitions, skated before the free skating program. It lasts, for both senior and junior singles and pair skaters, 2 minutes and 40 seconds. In synchronized skating, for both juniors and seniors, the short program lasts 2 minutes and 50 seconds. Vocal music with lyrics is allowed for all disciplines since the 2014-2015 season. The short program for single skaters and for pair skaters consists of seven required elements, and there are six required elements for synchronized skaters.
