Mia Abbas Uddin
Mia Abbas Uddin (1 January 1949 – 28 December 2017) Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician. He was elected a member of parliament from Bagerhat-4 in 1988. Early life Mia Abbas Uddin was born on 1 January 1949 in Bagerhat District. His father Manik Mia and mother Raushan Ara. She married Setara Abbas. They have 1 son and 3 daughters. Career Mia Abbas Uddin was elected to parliament from Bagerhat-4 as an independent candidate in 1988 Bangladeshi general election. In 1990, he joined the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). He was the president of Morelganj Upazila BNP. In 2014, he moved to Canada with his family. Bangladesh Nationalist Party
The Bangladesh Nationalist Party ( bn, বাংলাদেশ জাতীয়তাবাদী দল, Bangladesh Jātīyotābādī Dol; BNP) is a centre-right to right-wing nationalist, political party in Bangladesh and one of the major political parties of Bangladesh. It was founded on 1 September 1978 by former Bangladeshi President Ziaur Rahman after the Presidential election of 1978, with a view of uniting the people with a nationalist ideology. Abdus Sattar Akon
Mufti Abdus Sattar Akon (1929 – 6 February 2012) was a teacher, politician and former leader of the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami political party. He was the former Member of Parliament of Bagerhat-4. Early life and background Akon was born in 1929, to a Bengali Muslim Akon family in the village of Chalitabunia in Khaulia Union, Morrelganj, Bagerhat, Bengal Presidency. His father was Alimuddin Akon. Akon first began his education at the Amtali Madrasa in Morrelganj and then at the Tumchar Madrasa in Lakshmipur. He then proceeded to study at the Sarsina Dar us-Sunnat Kamil Madrasa in Nesarabad, Firozpur. Career Akon began his career as an Islamic studies teacher. He served as the principal of Bagerhat Alia Madrasa, Nesaria Alia Madrasa in Khulna and Chuadanga Alia Madrasa. General elections were held in Bangladesh on 3 March 1988.
