Megaherz Albums
Megaherz (English "Mega-heart", a pun on the homophone "megahertz") is a German Neue Deutsche Härte band formed in Eichenau in 1993. Megaherz has gone through many changes in musical style since their founding. Their early works are a fairly dark alternative metal, comparable to 1990s American bands such as Faith No More, whereas recent works are comparable to bands such as Oomph! and Rammstein. Their early albums all include at least one song based on a classic German fairy tale, including "Hänschen klein" ("Little Hans") on ''Herzwerk'', "Rapunzel" on ''Kopfschuss'', "Windkind" ("Wind Child") on ''Himmelfahrt'', and "I.M Rumpelstilzchen" on ''Herzwerk II''. The band has had many changes in line-up since its formation in 1993. Guitarist Christian Bystron and bassist Wenz Weninger have been the band's only consistent members since 1995. Eichenau
Eichenau is a municipality in the district of Fürstenfeldbruck, in Bavaria, Germany. It is 20 km west of Munich (centre). Eichenau was officially named in 1907 as a separate settlement to the community of Alling. Its location is due to the railway station on the line Munich to Lindau. The settlement grew according to plans made by district commissioner Josef Nibler in Fürstenfeldbruck since 1916. He founded the Baugenossenschaft Eichenau and managed to acquire 60 ha of land for housing projects after the First World War. Most of the population commutes to Munich. The town now has a large sports centre, complete with outdoor beach volleyball courts and tennis courts. Eichenau has two elementary schools ("Grundschule") and one high school ("Mittelschule"). Clawfinger is a Swedish rap metal band from Stockholm. The group is known for aggressive but melodic music and tackling political and anti-racist themes in their songs. History Origins: 1989–1991 The band's origin dates back to mid-1989, when Zak Tell and Jocke Skog met while working together at Rosenlund Hospital in Stockholm. Wer bist du? ("Who are you?") is the first full-length album by German industrial metal band Megaherz, following the limited edition release of their first album, ''Herzwerk''. The album includes three songs from ''Herzwerk'': "Krone der Schöpfung" (originally a two-part song, here a single track), "Negativ", and "Hänschenklein 1995" (remade as "Hänschenklein Siebenundneunzig"). The first track, " Gott sein", is one of Megaherz's most famous, and considers the problems of being God, culminating in the refrain "Es ist nicht leicht ein Gott zu sein" ("It's not easy to be a god"). The penultimate track, "Hänschenklein Siebenundneunzig", is based on a German nursery rhyme Hänschen klein, in which Hänschen klein (which translates most closely as "Little Hans") leaves home, causing his mother great grief.
