''Himmelfahrt'' (, Engl: ''Ascension'') is an industrial metal album by the German band Megaherz, released in 2000. It is the band's third full album. Track listing Notes * In English, "Himmelfahrt" literally means "journey to heaven" or "ascension". In the context of the lyrics it is used in, it means the sense of doing something where the chances of surviving are slim to none. * "Tanz auf dem Vulkan" means "to live on the edge", but literally it translates into "dance on the volcano". Album

Megaherz
Megaherz (English "Mega-heart", a pun on the homophone " megahertz") is a German Neue Deutsche Härte band formed in Eichenau in 1993. Megaherz has gone through many changes in musical style since their founding. Their early works are a fairly dark alternative metal, comparable to 1990s American bands such as Faith No More, whereas recent works are comparable to bands such as Oomph! and Rammstein. Their early albums all include at least one song based on a classic German fairy tale, including " Hänschen klein" ("Little Hans") on '' Herzwerk'', "Rapunzel" on ''Kopfschuss'', "Windkind" ("Wind Child") on ''Himmelfahrt'', and "I.M Rumpelstilzchen" on ''Herzwerk II''. ZYX Music
ZYX Music GmbH & Co. KG is a German record label that was founded in 1971 by Bernhard Mikulski. It is one of the most successful German record labels of the 1980s and 1990s. Until 1992, the label's name was Pop-Import Bernhard Mikulski. The label specialized in disco, early house music and 1990s techno. Founder Bernhard Mikulski is credited with coining the term "Italo disco" in the 1980s. After the death of Bernhard, his wife Christa Mikulski took over in 1997. ZYX Music is headquartered in Merenberg, Germany and has offices in the US and several European countries. ZYX releases records in a number of different genres, including techno, hip hop, funk, rock and pop. ''Kopfschuss'' (English: "Headshot") is the second full-length studio album by German industrial metal band Megaherz. It was released in July 1998 via ZYX Music. The album features a cover of a Falco song, "Rock Me Amadeus", and continued Megaherz's tradition of having one song per album based on a fairy tale with the track "Rappunzel", which alludes to the story of the same name. The track "Freiflug" re-uses lyrics from the song "Spring in die Schlucht" from the Herzwerk album. The opening track, "Liebestöter", brought the album most of its popularity abroad. The album was re-released in the US in 2005 as ''II'' (read as "Two" or "Zwei"), with the handgun removed from the album art. The resulting effect appears as if the clown is reaching for a fist bump. Alexander Wesselsky
Alexander "Alexx" Wesselsky (born 18 November 1968) is a German singer. He is the lead vocalist of Neue Deutsche Härte band Eisbrecher and previously performed with Megaherz from 1993 to 2003. Biography In 1985, Dale Arden became Wesselsky's first band, where he performed as lead singer and bassist alongside his best friend Bill Parsons in the early 1980s at a local bar. Megaherz: 1993–2003 Wesselsky joined Megaherz in 1993 as one of the founding members, writing lyrics and composing, as well as singing. Wesselsky has had moderate success during his time with Megaherz, his albums ''Himmelfahrt'', released in 2000 and ''Herzwerk II'', released in 2002, both charted in the Media Control Charts at No. 78. His most successful single during his time with Megaherz, ''Freiflug'', was released in 1999 and hit the German alternative charts at No. 7. Jochen "Noel Pix" Seibert (25 March 1972) is a German rock and house musician, best known as the lead guitarist and programmer of Neue Deutsche Härte band Eisbrecher. He previously played guitar and keyboards for the band Megaherz. He releases his house tracks under the alias Housemaster Kinky J. Noel Pix sings the German translations of theme songs for anime series like ''Pokémon'', ''Digimon'' or ''Dragon Ball Z''. He had one hit in the German, Austrian and Swiss singles chart: The theme song for the second season of Pokémon (''Pokémon Welt'') peaked at No. 50 in Germany, No. 30 in Austria and No. 49 in Switzerland.
