Mayflower Secondary School
Mayflower Secondary School is a co-educational government secondary school in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore founded in 1981. History Mayflower Secondary School began in 1981 with Wan Hussein as the pioneering principal. On 15 July 1983, the school was officially opened by Lim Boon Heng, Member of Parliament for Kebun Baru. In 2007 the school embarked on a programme "Project Cool Running" to raise funds to equip the school hall with air-conditioning. This was organised by the Kebun Baru Community Club. The first event, "Tri-Fit", was carried out on 12 March 2011. This event involved the whole school population, and they participated in one of the three sports events: walking, rollerblading and rope skipping. The school's partners were invited to participate in the afternoon festivities of line dancing, karaoke and waltz dancing. Ang Mo Kio
Ang Mo Kio is a planning area and residential town situated in the North-East of Singapore. Located approximately north of the Downtown Core district, Ang Mo Kio is the 3rd most populated planning area in the North-East Region and ranks 8th in terms of population in the country overall. The planning area is located at the south-western corner of the North-East Region, bordered by the planning areas of Yishun to the north, Sengkang to the north-east, Serangoon to the east, Bishan to the south and the Central Water Catchment to the west. Prior to urbanization, the area, much like other rural districts in Singapore at the time, was largely undeveloped, being mainly used for agricultural purposes, with uninhabited plots of land usually covered in dense secondary forest or swamps.

Lim Boon Heng
Lim Boon Heng (; born 18 November 1947) is a Singaporean former politician. A former member of the governing People's Action Party (PAP), he was a Member of Parliament (MP) between 1980 and 2011, and had served in the Cabinet between 2001 and 2011. He also served as Chairman of the People's Action Party between 2004 and 2011. Lim had also served as Chairman of NTUC Enterprise Co-operative, Deputy Chairman of the Singapore Labour Foundation, Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and Deputy Chairman of the People's Association. Paige Chua Qi Hui (; born 25 June 1981) is a Singaporean actress. Early life Chua was born in Singapore on 25 June 1981. Huang Biren
Huang Biren (born 7 March 1969) is a Singaporean actress best known for appearing in numerous MediaCorp Channel 8 television dramas. She was prominently a full-time Mediacorp artiste from 1988 to 2008, but continues to film on an ad-hoc basis.
