Matthew Lee Allin (born 23 September 1978) is an English List A cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper who played for Devon. He was born in Bideford Bideford ( ) is a historic port town on the estuary of the River Torridge in north Devon, south-west England. It is the main town of the Torridge local government district. Bideford ( ) is a historic port town on the estuary of the River Torridge in north Devon, south-west England. It is the main town of the Torridge local government district. Toponymy In ancient records Bideford is recorded as ''Bedeford'', ''Byddyfrod'', ''Bedyford'', ''Bydeford'', ''Bytheford'' and ''Biddeford''. Tony Allin
Anthony William Allin (born 20 April 1954) is a former English first-class and List A cricketer who played for Glamorgan and Devon. Allin played all his first-class matches for Glamorgan in 1976. He played List A cricket for Glamorgan, Devon and the Minor Counties. His best innings figures were 8 for 63 in Glamorgan's victory over Sussex. Two weeks later he took his best match figures, 6 for 133 and 5 for 59 against Middlesex, but this time Glamorgan lost. After one outstanding season for Glamorgan in 1976 he decided professional cricket was not for him, and returned to the family dairy farm in Devon. He continued to play for Devon, playing 43 matches for them in the Minor Counties Cricket Championship. He is the father of the Warwickshire cricketer Tom Allin. Thomas William Allin (27 November 1987 – 4 January 2016) was an English cricketer who played for Warwickshire County Cricket Club. Tom Allin was a right-arm medium-fast pace bowler who also batted right-handed. He made his debut for the county in the 2011 Clydesdale Bank 40 against Surrey, and his first-class debut came against Middlesex Middlesex (; abbreviation: Middx) is a historic county in southeast England. Devon County Cricket Club (Devon Cricket) is one of 20 minor county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Devon. The team is currently a member of the National Counties Championship Western Division Two and plays in the NCCA Knockout Trophy. Devon played List A matches occasionally from 1969 until 2005 but is not classified as a List A team 'per se'.
