Mark Kenny
Marc Kenny (born 17 September 1973) is an Irish former footballer. Kenny was captain of the Home Farm schoolboys team that got into the Guinness Book of Records for going six seasons without a defeat. A Republic of Ireland national under-17 football team international after three seasons at Liverpool he came home to play three seasons in the IFA Premiership with Bangor F.C. and Glenavon F.C. He made his League of Ireland debut for Shamrock Rovers at Finn Harps on 12 October 1996. A week later he scored on his full debut against Bohs in a 3-2 victory in Tolka Park. He scored a memorable free kick against Glasgow Celtic in July 1998. Kenny left Rovers before the 2005 League of Ireland season. His last League of Ireland game was at Tolka Park in November 2005 as Rovers were relegated for the first time in their history. Dublin
Dublin (; , or ) is the capital and largest city of Ireland. Harry Kenny
Harry Kenny (born 13 April 1962) is an Irish footballer who last managed at St Patrick's Athletic before resigning in August 2019. During his playing career he spent 13 seasons playing for Shamrock Rovers. Harry, or 'H' as his friends nicknamed him, came to Milltown in September 1978, one year after Johnny Giles had been appointed player/manager. He was a number of full-time players who Giles signed up as part of the policy to develop a full-time professional set up at Milltown. Other players who were involved in the scheme at the time were Pierce O'Leary, Alan Campbell and Ritchie Bayly. Harry made his Rovers debut on 20 December 1978 in a Leinster Senior Cup quarter final win against Dunleary Celtic at Tolka Park. Ulster Cup
The Ulster Cup was an annual football competition held by the Irish Football League for senior clubs. History Beginning in 1949, it was held on fifty-one occasions until being suspended after the 1998/99 season and discontinued after a one-off re-appearance in 2002/03. The last three editions were only open to First Division sides. From the mid-1980s to the early-1990s the competition was known as the Lombard Ulster Cup due to a sponsorship deal with the Lombard & Ulster Bank. It had previously been sponsored by Morans. Format The format of the Ulster Cup varied from season to season. Derek Tracey (born 6 April 1971 in Dublin) is a retired League of Ireland association footballer who spent his entire 17 season senior career playing for Shamrock Rovers. He made his debut on 9 August 1989 against St James's Gate F.C. in the Leinster Senior Cup. Tracey made his League of Ireland debut on 19 November 1989 against Dundalk as a substitute. He got his first start following week in Cork. His first goal was against University College Dublin A.F.C. in a 1-0 win on 13 February 1990. He was the club's top goalscorer in 1994–95 with 8 league goals. He was ever present in the 1996-97 and 1997-98 seasons.
