Dutch Open (tennis)
The Dutch Open is a professional tennis tournament currently part of the ATP Challenger Tour since 2019. It is played on outdoor clay courts in Bunschoten, Netherlands (since 2025). Originally known as the International Championships of the Netherlands and then known as the Dutch Open Tennis, it was a Grand Prix circuit and subsequently an ATP Tour event held in three different locations in The Netherlands between 1957 and 2008. Brian Joelson (born September 30, 1961) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. Biography Joelson was born in Georgia and grew up in Portland, Oregon, attending Aloha High School. While playing a junior tournament in Texas at the age of 17 he caught the eye of the Texas A&M University coach who was in attendance to watch another player. From 1979 to 1983 he attended Texas A&M and played collegiate tennis in the Southwest Conference. Joost Winnink (born 30 June 1971) is a former professional tennis player from the Netherlands. Career Winnink, and his partner Filip Dewulf, reached the semi-finals of the 1994 Monte Carlo Open, but his best result on the ATP Tour was when he finished runner-up at the 1995 South African Open, also in the doubles. Tomáš Anzari (born Třinec, 24 June 1970) is a former professional tennis player from the Czech Republic and writer on psychology and stress in sports. He was also known as Tomáš Zdražila. Jaime Oncins (born 16 June 1970) is a former professional tennis player from Brazil. Oncins represented his native country at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, where he reached the quarterfinals before falling to Russia's Andrei Cherkasov.
