Vynnyky ( uk, Ви́нники, , pl, Winniki) is a city in Lviv Raion, Lviv Oblast (region) of Ukraine. It belongs to Lviv urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. As of 2021, its population was estimated to be . The city is part of Lychakiv Raion of the city of Lviv. History Since the mid-14th century, until the Partitions of Poland, Vynnyky, called in Polish Winniki, belonged to Ruthenian Voivodeship, Kingdom of Poland. Football Club Dnipro ( uk, Футбо́льний Клуб «Дніпро́», ) was a Ukrainian football club based in Dnipro. The club was owned by the Privat Group that also owns BC Dnipro and Budivelnyk Kyiv. Football Club Metalist Kharkiv ( uk, Футбо́льний Клуб Металі́ст Ха́рків ) is a Ukrainian football club based in Kharkiv that plays in the Ukrainian First League during the 2021–22 season. It was revived 5 years after the original FC Metalist Kharkiv ceased operations.
