"My Name is Jon Daker" is an internet viral video of an Easter recital at First United Methodist Church in Peoria, Illinois, in 1990 that was broadcast as part of a public access TV program on WTVP. It has been viewed more than 5 million times on YouTube. In the video, an amateur singer, Jon Daker, is accompanied by a pianist as he sings renditions of "Christ the Lord Is Risen Today" and "That's Amore." First United Methodist Church (First UMC) is located in downtown Peoria, in the U.S. state of Illinois. The congregation was established in the early 1800s. "Christ the Lord Is Risen Today" is a Christian hymn associated with Easter. Most of the stanzas were written by Charles Wesley, and the hymn appeared under the title "Hymn for Easter Day" in ''Hymns and Sacred Poems'' by Charles and John Wesley in 1739. The hymn eventually became well known for the "Alleluia" sung as a melisma after each line, which was added by an unknown author, probably to fit the commonly used hymn tune, "Easter Hymn". It remains a traditional processional hymn on Easter Sunday. "That's Amore" is a 1953 song by composer Harry Warren and lyricist Jack Brooks, and became a major hit and signature song for Dean Martin, who first recorded and released it that year. ''Amore'' () means "love" in Italian. History The song first appeared in the soundtrack of the Martin and Lewis comedy film ''The Caddy'', released by Paramount Pictures on August 10, 1953.
