Regency Road (and its eastern section as Muller Road) is a main east-west road forming a continuous connection between the inner northern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. Located approximately north of the city centre, Regency Road carries a large amount of freight traffic, being located near Regency Park and the Churchill Road industrial area. Kilkenny, South Australia
Kilkenny is an inner north-western suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is located in the City of Charles Sturt. It is named after Kilkenny ( Cill Chainnigh), Ireland. History Before the colonisation of South Australia in 1836, the land now called Kilkenny was occupied by the Kaurna people. The suburb of Kilkenny was created by subdivision of section 388 of the Hundred of Yatala in 1849 and was known as the Township of Kilkenny. Section 388 was bounded on its north east by Torrens Road, indicating the historic township occupied only the southern half of the present suburb. The present-day boundaries of Kilkenny include the former suburb of Challa Gardens, created by subdivision of section 411E of the same hundred in 1950, which was also known as Woodville East and Kilkenny North prior to the 1950 subdivision. North–South Motorway
The North–South Motorway is a partially complete motorway traversing the inner western suburbs of Adelaide from Waterloo Corner in the north to Bedford Park in the south. Progressively constructed in stages since 2010, once complete it will replace the adjacent South Road as Adelaide's main north–south roadway and form the central section of the North–South Corridor, being flanked north and south by the Northern Expressway and Southern Expressway, respectively. Islington Sewage Farm
The Islington Sewage Farm (also known as Tam O'Shanter Sewage Farm) was a sewerage treatment facility located at Tam O'Shanter Belt/Islington (now Regency Park) in South Australia, which operated from 1881 until 1966. According to a 1996 heritage survey by the City of Enfield Islington Sewage Farm was claimed to be Australia's earliest "water borne waste disposal treatment system". Broadview is a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is located in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield and the City of Prospect. History The suburb was laid out in 1915 by C. H. Angas and K. D. Bowman. Broadview Post Office did not open until 20 November 1945 and closed in 1987. Geography Broadview lies astride Regency Road and has Hampstead Road as its eastern boundary.
