Mukund Parmar
Mukund Harishkumar Parmar (born 13 November 1968) is an Indian former first-class cricketer who played for Gujarat. As of February 2016, he works as the head coach of Andhra. Career A right-handed middle-order batsman who bowled part-time slow left-arm orthodox, Parmar represented Gujarat for 19 seasons after making his debut at the age of 19 in 1988. He made a total of 6674 runs in first-class cricket at an average close to 50, and scored 20 centuries. He was successful with the bat in the 1990–91 Ranji Trophy, scoring 691 runs in four matches at 115.16 and four hundreds. Soon after, he became a regular member of the West Zone team and appeared for Wills XI. Parmar made three hundreds in three consecutive first-class innings during the 1995–96 Ranji Trophy, scoring 174 and 101 against Saurashtra followed by his personal best score of 283 against Maharashtra. The 1995–96 Ranji Trophy was the 62nd season of the Ranji Trophy. Karnataka defeated Tamil Nadu on first innings lead in the finals. Gujarat Cricket Association is the governing body of the Cricket activities in the Gujarat state of India and the Gujarat cricket team. It is affiliated to the Board of Control for Cricket in India. As a member of BCCI, it has the authority to select players, umpires and officials to participate in state events and exercises total control over them in Gujarat. Without its recognition, no competitive cricket involving GCA-contracted players can be hosted within the State of Gujarat and India. National Cricket Academy
The National Cricket Academy is a cricket facility of the BCCI for the purpose of developing young cricketers who have been identified as having the potential to represent the Indian cricket team. It was established in the year 2000 and is located in Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium, Bengaluru, Karnataka in India. The facility is also used for the rehabilitation of injured players. The NCA was the brainchild of cricket administrator and former BCCI President Raj Singh Dungarpur. In 2014, BCCI tied up with both Cricket Australia and the ECB to get experts in for helping draw its new structure. BCCI decided to make these changes along the lines of the state-of-the-art high-performance centres based in Australia and England as part of the revamp of the National Cricket Academy.
