Muhammad Aurangzeb
Muhammad Aurangzeb (born 1964) is a Pakistani banker who currently serving as the Minister of Finance for Pakistan since 11 March 2024. He previously served as the chief executive officer (CEO) and president of Habib Bank Limited from February 2018 to March 2024. Early life and education Aurangzeb was born in June 1964 to Chaudhry Muhammad Farooq Ramday, who served twice as the Attorney-General for Pakistan. Aurangzeb attended Aitchison College in Lahore for his early education and later received an Aga Khan Scholarship to study at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated from the Wharton School, earning both a bachelor's degree in science and economics and an MBA. The 1999 military takeover in Pakistan was a bloodless ''coup d'état'' initiated by the military staff at the Joint Staff HQ working under Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Pervez Musharraf.
