Motoplex Speedway and Event Park, formerly known as SunValley Speedway, was a paved tri-oval auto racing facility located in Spallumcheen, north of Vernon, British Columbia, Canada. The facility features a 7,500-seat, NASCAR-sanctioned tri-oval. Vernon is a city in the Okanagan region of the Southern Interior of British Columbia, Canada. It is northeast of Vancouver. Andrew Ranger (born November 20, 1986) is a Canadian professional racing driver who competes full-time in the NASCAR Pinty's Series, driving the No. 27 for Paillé Course//Racing. Ranger is a veteran of the Pinty's Series, having claimed 28 wins in 133 races. He was champion in 2007, 2009 and 2019, runner-up in 2016, third in 2012 and 2015, and fourth in 2008. The 2013 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series season is the seventh season of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series taking place in the summer of 2013. The season composed of twelve races at ten different venues. Seven of those events were contested on oval courses. Summary The seventh season consists of 12 events spanning across 5 provinces featuring 12 events. Television rights are once again licensed to TSN in one-hour tape-delayed episodes, excluding both events at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park road course which will be aired live on TSN and CTV. Scott Steckly (born March 2, 1972) is a Canadian professional stock car racing driver and team owner. In his nine years competing in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, he drove the No. 22 Dodge Charger for his own 22 Racing team. He is the 2008, 2011, 2013, and 2015 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Champion. He currently fields the No. 18 Chevrolet Camaro full-time for Alex Tagliani, the No. 22 Camaro full-time for Marc-Antoine Camirand, and the No. 24 Camaro full-time for Donald Theetge. 2010 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Season
The 2010 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series was the fourth racing season since the buy out of the CASCAR Super Series. Overview In 2010 many procedures in the series remained the same, with all of the races airing on The Sports Network, TSN, in tape-delayed one-hour segments excluding Montreal and the Toronto Indy. The Sports Network, TSN and RDS provided live coverage of the NAPA Autopro 100 from the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on Sunday, August 29 and July 25 from the streets of Toronto. Major changes to the series included former CASCAR champion Dave Whitlock and his team closing down leaving many looking for rides.
