Scott Steckly
Scott Steckly (born March 2, 1972) is a Canadian professional stock car racing driver and team owner. In his nine years competing in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, he drove the No. 22 Dodge Charger for his own 22 Racing team. He is the 2008, 2011, 2013, and 2015 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Champion. He currently fields the No. 18 Chevrolet Camaro full-time for Alex Tagliani, the No. 22 Camaro full-time for Marc-Antoine Camirand, and the No. 24 Camaro full-time for Donald Theetge. Racing career Steckly made his debut in CASCAR Super Series in 2000 season, driving the No. 22 for his own team. Steckly ran in CASCAR Super Series from 2000 to 2006 season when NASCAR purchased CASCAR and created the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series in 2007 season. Stock car racing is a form of automobile racing run on oval tracks and road courses measuring approximately . It originally used production-model cars, hence the name "stock car", but is now run using cars specifically built for racing. The Sports Network (TSN) is a Canadian English language sports specialty channel established by the Labatt Brewing Company in 1984 as part of the first group of Canadian specialty cable channels. Toyota All-Star Showdown
The Sunrise Ford All-Star Showdown is a Super Late Model championship event at Irwindale Speedway, originally held from 2006-10 seasons as a non-championship NASCAR event for lower-level series, and since the 2020 motorsport season, revived by the circuit was a Super Late Model event for the SRL Southwest Tour. The original format from 2003-11 seasons were sanctioned by NASCAR. The Canadian Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (CASCAR) was an auto racing sanctioning body for amateur and professional stock car racing in Canada. The company was founded in 1981 and was headquartered in Delaware, Ontario. In 2006, NASCAR purchased CASCAR and created the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series. The CASCAR Super Series was Canada's premier stock car touring division. It was sanctioned by CASCAR. The series ended after the 2006 season after NASCAR purchased CASCAR, and NASCAR used it as the basis for the NASCAR Pinty's Series. Donald Theetge
Donald Theetge (born October 3, 1966) is a Canadian professional stock car racing driver. He competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 74 Toyota Camry for Visconti Motorsports, as well as the NASCAR Pinty's Series driving his own No. 80 Chevrolet Camaro. Racing career CASCAR / NASCAR Pinty's Series Xfinity Series In July 2018, Theetge made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at New Hampshire. He finished 33rd, driving the No. 90 for fellow Canadian Mario Gosselin's DGM Racing team. He returned to make another start for them in the race at ISM Raceway (Phoenix) in November, scoring a 25th-place finish. Marc-Antoine Camirand
Marc-Antoine Camirand (born 30 April 1979) is a Canadian racing driver. He currently competes in the NASCAR Pinty's Series and is the 2022 NASCAR Pinty's Series champion. Early career Camirand began karting in the early 1990s, winning the F100 Junior class in the Quebec Karting Championship in 1993 and the Formula Super A class in the Canadian Karting Championship two years later in 1995. Camirand moved to cars in 1996, beginning with the Formula Ford Canada championship. Camirand won the championship in 1997 and afterwards moved on the U.S. F2000 National Championship. He competed three full seasons in U.S. F2000, with a best finish of 2nd in the championship during the 1999 championship.
