CASCAR Super Series
The CASCAR Super Series was Canada's premier stock car touring division. It was sanctioned by CASCAR. The series ended after the 2006 season after NASCAR purchased CASCAR, and NASCAR used it as the basis for the NASCAR Pinty's Series. General Tire served as the series' title sponsor from 1988 to 1990, followed by Budweiser from 1993 to 1993. Stock car racing is a form of automobile racing run on oval tracks and road courses measuring approximately . It originally used production-model cars, hence the name "stock car", but is now run using cars specifically built for racing. It originated in the southern United States; the world's largest governing body is the American NASCAR. Its NASCAR Cup Series is the premier top-level series of professional stock car racing. Mark Dilley
Mark Dilley (born January 20, 1969) is a Canadian race car driver. He competes in the NASCAR Pinty's Series, driving the No. 64 Leland/BDI/PartSource Ford Fusion for Micks Motorsports. Dilley has been co-owner of Sauble Speedway since May 2017. Early career Dilley drove in the CASCAR Super Series from 1990 until 2006 when the series was bought by NASCAR and rebranded as the Canadian Tire Series. Dilley won the CASCAR Super Series Championship in 1994. NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Dilley began to race in the Canadian Tire Series in 2007 picking up sponsorship from Dodge, Wild Wing, and Leland Industries. He would go on to rack up 1 pole and 4 top fives in the series inaugural season, including a win at Riverside International Speedway. Capital City Speedway
Capital City Speedway was a racetrack in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, located southwest of Stittsville, Ontario. The Speedway included a dragstrip and a 3/8th mile oval, and ran five different series including the 4 For Fun class, Mini Stock Class, Thunder Car Class, ACT Late Model Class and the Lentch Automotive Legends Class. The Speedway's racing season ran from May until September annually. The Speedway has been closed since 2015. The Jukasa Motor Speedway (formerly known as Cayuga Speedway and the Cayuga 2000 Speedway) was an auto racing track located near Cayuga in Haldimand County, Ontario, Canada. Auto Clearing Motor Speedway
Sutherland Automotive Speedway (formerly Wyant Group Raceway and Auto Clearing Motor Speedway) is a paved oval auto racing facility just north of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. It is owned and operated by the Saskatoon Stock Car Racing Association Ltd. (SSCRA). SSCRA was formed in 1954 and initially operated out of the 8th Street Racing Oval, The Motordrome, near what is now McKercher Drive and Moss Avenue in Saskatoon. The Motordrome's last year of operation was 1969, after which it was removed to make way for residential development. The SSCRA ran out of the Exhibition grounds grandstand in 1970, but area residents complained about the noise, dust and traffic. Barrie Speedway was a 1/3-mile tri-oval racing track located in Oro-Medonte, Ontario, Canada, north of Barrie.
