Soulwax
Soulwax are an electronic band from Ghent, Belgium. Centred around brothers David and Stephen Dewaele, other current members include Igor Cavalera and Stefaan Van Leuven. They were first noticed after the release of their album ''Much Against Everyone's Advice'', but after that, the Dewaeles started focusing on their other projects, such as 2manydjs (first known as The Fucking Dewaele Brothers/The Flying Dewaele Brothers). Their album ''As Heard on Radio Soulwax Pt. 2'' was named the best popular music album of 2002 by ''The New York Times''. The brothers have also hosted a show on Belgian television, ''Alter8''. Justice is a French electronic music duo consisting of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay. The duo's label is Ed Banger Records, managed by Pedro Winter. Justice is known for incorporating a strong rock influence into their music and image. The band's debut album ''Cross'' was released in June 2007 to critical acclaim. "'Six Days" is a song by American trip-hop artist DJ Shadow, from his second album, ''The Private Press''. The song was written by Brian Farrell and Dennis Olivieri, and was produced by DJ Shadow. It was released as the third official single from the album in 2002. The main vocals of the song are sampled from the 1971 song "Six Day War" by the British band Colonel Bagshot, with some riffs taken from the 1970 song "I Cry in the Morning" by the American singer Dennis Olivieri. Brian Farrell of Colonel Bagshot and Olivieri are both given songwriting credits on the track. Music video The song's music video was directed by Hong Kong director Wong Kar-wai. James Ford (musician)
James Ford is an English record producer, songwriter and musician, known for being a member of Simian Mobile Disco and The Last Shadow Puppets as well as his production work with the Arctic Monkeys, Foals, Florence and the Machine, Depeche Mode, Haim, Gorillaz, Klaxons, Jessie Ware and Kylie Minogue. "Gravity's Rainbow" is a song by British band Klaxons, from their debut album '' Myths of the Near Future''. It is named after Thomas Pynchon's novel. The song was first released on Angular Records as a double A-side with " The Bouncer" in March 2006 and was limited to 500 copies on 7" vinyl only. In September 2006, it was released on 12" vinyl with three remixes of the track. It reached a peak position of number 35 on the UK Singles Chart. A re-recorded version of the track was re-released in 2007, with a remix from Soulwax, a new Erol Alkan-produced track "Electrickery" and a live version of the track. For the re-release of "Gravity's Rainbow", the band reshot the music video.
