Soulwax
Soulwax are an electronic band from Ghent, Belgium. Centred around brothers David and Stephen Dewaele, other current members include Igor Cavalera and Stefaan Van Leuven. They were first noticed after the release of their album ''Much Against Everyone's Advice'', but after that, the Dewaeles started focusing on their other projects, such as 2manydjs (first known as The Fucking Dewaele Brothers/The Flying Dewaele Brothers). Their album ''As Heard on Radio Soulwax Pt. 2'' was named the best popular music album of 2002 by ''The New York Times''. The brothers have also hosted a show on Belgian television, ''Alter8''. Goose (Belgian Band)
Goose is a Belgian electronic rock band consisting of members Mickael Karkousse, Dave Martijn, Tom Coghe, and Bert Libeert. History Goose was formed in the summer of 2000 in Kortrijk, Belgium. They started writing and recording their own songs, heavily incorporating synthesizers into them. They won Humo's Rock Rally in 2002 and later that year recorded their debut single "Audience" with Teo Miller. Coca-Cola used their debut single for TV adverts across Europe. They were signed to Skint Records and their debut album ''Bring It On'' was released on September 11, 2006. They toured intensively through Europe, and played shows in Australia and Japan. Tiga () James Sontag (born 18 September 1974), known simply as Tiga, is a Canadian musician, DJ and record producer of electronic dance music. He has released three albums, '' Sexor'', '' Ciao!'', and ''No Fantasy Required''. ''Sexor'' won the 2007 Juno Award for Dance Recording of the Year. Bent Van Looy
Bent Van Looy (born 3 May 1976) is a Belgian-Flemish musician, singer and songwriter. He has been the frontman and singer for Das Pop, the Belgian band he founded in Ghent in 1994 together with schoolfriends Reinhard Vanbergen, Niek Meul and Lieven Moors. He was also the drummer of Soulwax, a project of the Dewaele brothers. Van Looy recorded solo albums, presented on TV and radio, and is a painter. In Das Pop Bent Van Looy's band Das Pop was initially called Things to Come, but the band later changed its name to Das Pop. The band has released four albums: ''I ♥'' (2000), ''The Human Thing'' (2003), Das Pop (2009) and ''The Game'' (2011). Das Pop was a Belgian band founded in Ghent by school friends Reinhard Vanbergen, Niek Meul, Lieven Moors and Bent Van Looy. Biography Das Pop was initially called Things to Come, but the band changed its name to Das Pop when Tom Kestens joined the band. In 1998, they won Belgium's influential HUMO's Rock Rally contest. Tom Kestens and Lieven Moors later left the band, and in 2007 New Zealander Matt Eccles (formerly drums in Betchadupa) joined the band as the new drummer. In January 2008 Das Pop released "Fool For Love" on UK independent label Prestel Records. The release featured remixes from French DJ SebastiAn and Yuksek, and was called a "monumental new single from the Belgian electro band" in the Culture section of UK newspaper ''The Sunday Times''. Igor Cavalera
Igor Graziano Cavalera (born 4 September 1970) is a Brazilian musician, best known as the former drummer for the heavy metal band Sepultura, which he co-founded with his brother Max in 1984. Max left the band in 1996, and Cavalera himself would depart ten years later, making him the last original member of Sepultura to leave the band. The brothers have since reunited in the band Cavalera Conspiracy. He has played in the bands Nailbomb and Strife. As his hip-hop influences grew stronger, he began to DJ.
