Moshe Weinkrantz
Moshe Weinkrantz (משה (מויש'לה) ויינקרנץ; born May 3, 1954) is an Israeli basketball coach. He has coached teams in the Israel Basketball Premier League, the Israel men's national basketball team, and the Israel women's national basketball team. Biography In the Israel Basketball Premier League Weinkrantz coached Ironi Ramat Gan from 2008 to 2009. He also coached Maccabi Rishon LeZion (basketball), Maccabi Rishon LeZion, with which he was the Israeli Basketball Premier League Coach of the Year in 1990–91. In the 1980s, Weinkrantz was an assistant coach to Zvi Sherf at Maccabi Tel Aviv B.C., Maccabi Tel Aviv. He then moved as head coach to Hapoel Tel Aviv B.C., Hapoel Tel Aviv, Hapoel Eilat B.C., Hapoel Eilat, Hapoel Holon, and Maccabi Rishon LeZion among others. In 2008 he coached Bnei Hasharon. Israel Men's National Basketball Team
The Israel men's national basketball team ( he, נבחרת ישראל בכדורסל) represents Israel in international basketball tournaments. They are administered by the Israeli Basketball Association. Israel is currently ranked 33rd in the FIBA World Rankings. Israel has qualified for the EuroBasket 30 times throughout their history. They have also made two appearances at the World Cup, and one at the Summer Olympics. Israel also participated at the Asian Games from 1966 to 1974. Zvi Sherf
Zvi Sherf ( he, צבי שרף; born December 18, 1951 in Tel Aviv, Israel), known almost universally by his nickname Zvika ( he, צביקה), is an Israeli former basketball player and professional basketball coach. Coaching career Sherf played basketball with the Maccabi Tel Aviv youth teams, starting at age 12. By age 16, Sherf was playing for Maccabi South Tel Aviv (the club's second side), and was sent to a coaching course, along with fellow future Israeli basketball coach Pini Gershon. By age 20, Sherf was coaching the Maccabi Tel Aviv youth teams, and by age 25, he was coaching Maccabi South Tel Aviv, leading it to his first championship. Bnei Herzliya Basket (, lit. ''Sons of Herzliya''), is a professional basketball club that is based in Herzliya, in the Sharon district in Israel.
