Hapoel Holon Basketball Club ( he, מועדון הכדורסל הפועל חולון), known for sponsorship reasons as Hapoel Atsmon Playgrounds Holon (), is a professional basketball club based in Holon, Israel. The team plays in the Israeli Basketball Premier League (the top tier of Israeli basketball), and internationally in the Basketball Champions League. The team was founded in 1947, and plays in the Holon Toto Hall, which is home to 5,500 spectators. One of Hapoel Holon's most notable title victories came in 2008, as the club pulled one of the biggest upsets in league history by defeating perennial champions Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Premier League final. The club also went on to win the Israeli Basketball State Cup in 2009, defeating Maccabi Haifa, and also in 2018, defeating Maccabi Tel Aviv. The Israeli Basketball League Cup is a pre-season professional basketball tournament that is contested between clubs. It has been held in Israel since 2006. It is held during the week before the start of the Israeli Premier League season. The Israeli League Cup tournament is currently sponsored by Pais Lotto, and therefore it is officially known as the Chance Cup. The 2021–22 Israeli Basketball Premier League, for sponsorship reasons Ligat Winner, will be the 68th season of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. The league will start on October 2, 2021. Format The regular season will be played in a 22-round Round-Robin format. The top 6 finishers will play the 5 rounds "upper house", with the other 6 teams playing the 5 rounds "bottom house". The 6 upper group teams, joined by the top 2 teams from the bottom group, will play the quarter finals as Best-of-5 series. The semi finals and finals will be played as Best-of-3 series. Roi Huber ( he, רועי הובר; born February 10, 1997) is an Israeli professional basketball player for Hapoel Galil Elyon of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. Early life Huber was born in Kadima, Israel. He played for Hapoel Lev Hasharon youth team and helped them to win the Israeli Youth State Cup in 2012, alongside his teammate Tamir Blatt.
