Moj (app)
Moj is an Indian short video sharing social media platform owned by Bangalore based ShareChat (Mohalla Tech Pvt Ltd). The Moj app allows users to upload videos lasting for up to 15 seconds to 1 min in 15 regional Indian languages. Moj app also allows live video streaming that enables creators to showcase their talent with their users in real-time. Moj app was coded in 30 hours and it was released in July 2020. Moj app also garnered over 10 million downloads in first six days of its launch. In December 2020, Moj app received Google Play Best of 2020 Awards. In January 2022, Moj app was positioned as #1 short video platform in India by TechCrunch. ShareChat is an Indian social media platform, owned by Bangalore-based Mohalla Tech Pvt Ltd. It was founded by Ankush Sachdeva, Bhanu Pratap Singh and Farid Ahsan, and incorporated on 8 January 2015.
