Mohd Isa Abdul Samad
Mohd Isa bin Abdul Samad ( Jawi: محمد عيسى بن عبدالصمد; born 14 November 1949) is a Malaysian politician. He was the longest serving Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan for 22 years from April 1982 to March 2004 and was a Minister of Federal Territories (2004–2005). Isa was a member and former vice-president of United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition until 2018 when he quit to become an Independent. He was also the former chairman of Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA), Felda Global Ventures Holdings (FGV) and Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD). Early life Isa was born in 1949 at Malacca, Malaysia and was educated at Sekolah Kebangsaan Bagan Pinang, Port Dickson and then attended Alam Shah School, Kuala Lumpur. Malay Styles And Titles
The Malay language has a complex system of Style (manner of address), styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the southern Philippines. Malacca
Malacca ( ms, Melaka) is a state in Malaysia located in the southern region of the Malay Peninsula, next to the Strait of Malacca. Its capital is Malacca City, dubbed the Historic City, which has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 7 July 2008. The Land Public Transport Commission (Malay: ''Suruhanjaya Pengangkutan Awam Darat''), Abbr.: SPAD, was a Malaysian statutory body set up to plan for, regulate and enforce rules concerning land-based public and freight transport in Malaysia from 2010 to 2018. In 2018, the SPAD was dissolved and rebranded as the Land Public Transport Agency (''Agensi Pengangkutan Awam Darat'': Abbr, APAD) which was absorbed into Ministry of Transport. The Federal Land Development Authority (Felda; ms, Lembaga Kemajuan Tanah Persekutuan. LKTP) is a Malaysian government agency that was founded to handle the resettlement of rural poor into newly developed areas (''colonies'', ''settlements'' or ''schemes'') and to organize smallholder farms growing cash crops. Jawi (; ace, Jawoë; Kelantan-Pattani: ''Yawi''; ) is a writing system used for writing several languages of Southeast Asia, such as Acehnese, Banjarese, Kerinci, Maguindanaon, Malay, Minangkabau, Tausūg, and Ternate. Jawi is based on the Arabic script, consisting of all of the original 31 Arabic letters, and six additional letters constructed to fit the phonemes native to Malay, and an additional phoneme used in foreign loanwords, but not found in Classical Arabic, which are ''ca'' ( ), ''nga'' ( ), ''pa'' ( ), ''ga'' ( ), ''va'' ( ), and ''nya'' ( ). An independent or non-partisan politician is a politician not affiliated with any political party or bureaucratic association. There are numerous reasons why someone may stand for office as an independent. Some politicians have political views that do not align with the platforms of any political party, and therefore choose not to affiliate with them.
