Mohamed Thiaw
Mohamed Thiaw (born January 24, 1995) is a Senegalese soccer player. Career College Born in Dakar, Senegal, Thiaw moved to Lexington, Kentucky as a 15-year-old where he attended Bryan Station High School and after graduation attended Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, where he played OCCAC soccer for two seasons and scored 41 goals in 34 appearances. He was a two-time All-America selection for his performances at Cincinnati State. Thiaw transferred to the University of Louisville in 2016 and played for the Cardinals for two seasons, scoring 20 goals in 41 appearances. Professional On January 10, 2018, Thiaw was selected 35th overall by the San Jose Earthquakes during the 2018 MLS SuperDraft. Daniel Musovski (born November 30, 1995) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a winger for Major League Soccer club Seattle Sounders FC. Career College Prior to starting college, Musovski was named the Nevada Gatorade Player of the Year as a high school junior, and set the state high school record for single-season goals as a senior at 58. At UNLV, he played four years of college soccer, from 2014 to 2017, during which he scored 47 goals in 88 appearances. He was a two-time All-America selection, and as a senior earned WAC Offensive Player of the Year honors. The National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States. The league is in the third tier of American soccer and began play in 2019. NISA initially used a fall-to-spring season format with a winter break but have switched to spring-to-fall which is more common in the United States. 2019–20 Miami FC Season
The 2019–20 Miami FC season was the club's first season playing in the National Independent Soccer Association, a newly established third division soccer league in the United States, and first professional season since 2017. It was also Miami's third season of professional play overall. The team competed in the fall portion of the NISA season, between September and November 2019, before leaving the league and joining the second division USL Championship. The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is an American men's association football, soccer league. The NPSL is a semi-professional league, comprising some teams that have paid players and some that are entirely amateur. The league is officially affiliated to the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) and has automatic qualification for the U.S. Open Cup. 2018 USL Season
The 2018 USL season was the eighth season of the United Soccer League and second under Division II sanctioning. The previous season, the USL had provisional Div. II sanctioning from the United States Soccer Federation (U.S. Soccer) along with the North American Soccer League, but was given full sanctioning for the 2018 season with a two-year deadline to meet the full requirements set by U.S. Soccer. Louisville City FC were the defending USL Cup champions, while Real Monarchs were the defending Supporters’ Shield champions. This season was the last for four teams in the USL, with all changing leagues for 2019 and beyond. FC Cincinnati will join Major League Soccer.
