Mohamed Abdulla (actor)
Mohamed Abdulla (6 December 1974) is a Maldivian film producer, actor and a politician. Career Acting career In his career, Abdulla starred in a limited feature films; ''Bulbulaa'' (1999) and Amjad Ibrahim's comedy drama film ''Majubooru Loabi'' (2000). The latter being a commercial success, marks the only collaboration of Abdulla with legendary comedy actors, Haajara Abdul Kareem and Sithi Fulhu. Abdulla made his career breakthrough with the role Muhamma in the first installment of '' Dheke Dhekeves'' (2004) short film series which extended until the sixth installment, released in 2012. The success of the character Muhamma retained with several other projects including the short film series, '' Falhi Sikunthu'' and the television series, '' Mohamma Gaadiyaa''. Ihavandhoo (Haa Alif Atoll)
Ihavandhoo is an island of Ihavandhippolhu Atoll. It is located in the northernmost geographic atoll in the country, and is administratively part of Haa Alif Atoll. It is an Atoll- island-level administrative constituency governed by the Ihavandhoo Island Council . History The story of Mohamed Thakurufaanu (Boduthankurufaanu), the Maldivian hero who defeated the Portuguese rule in Maldives, reveals that mother of Mohamed Thakurufaanu was an Ihavandhoo lady. The island has a mosque built by Sultan Ibrahim Muhirudheen in 1701 using brain corals. ''13 Ah Visnaa Dhehaas'' is a 2012 Maldivian political comedy short film directed by Abdulla Muaz. Produced by Mohamed Abdulla under Dhekedheke Ves Productions, the film stars Abdulla, Niuma Mohamed, Ismail Rasheed and Fathimath Azifa in pivotal roles. The entire film was shot in R. Ungoofaaru. At the 3rd Maldives Film Awards ceremony, the film was nominated in eight categories. Premise The film revolves around the conflict of two political parties, Maldives Democratic Party (MDP) and Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) where two couples representing each party involves in political and personal complications in regards to the 2013 Presidency of Maldives. ''Edhathuru'' is a 2004 Maldivian horror film directed by Yoosuf Shafeeu. Ravee Farooq is a Maldivian actor, director, editor and choreographer. Career Farooq made his film debut with Abdul Faththaah-directed romantic disaster film, ''Hureemey Inthizaarugaa'' (2005) cast along with Mariyam Zuhura, Waleedha Waleed, Ibrahim Jihad and Neena Saleem.
