Miss World Bangladesh
Miss World Bangladesh is an annual national beauty pageant held in Bangladesh, owned by Engr. Mehedi Hasan, Chairman of Omicon Entertainment. The winner will compete in the Miss World pageant. The current Miss World Bangladesh is Rafah Nanjeba Torsa of chittagong who was crowned on October 11, 2019 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel. Background Omicon Entertainment and Antar Showbiz jointly created Miss World Bangladesh to be the country's first nationwide pageant for 2 years ( 2017–2018 ). Miss World 2021
Miss World 2021 was the 70th edition of the Miss World pageant, held at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico on 16 March 2022. The coronation was originally scheduled to be held on 16 December 2021 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum. However, the pageant was rescheduled to 16 March 2022 due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Puerto Rico. Contestants from 97 countries and territories competed in this year's pageant, featuring the smallest number of candidates at the pageant since 2003. The pageant was hosted by Peter Andre for the second time, and Fernando Allende. Rafah Nanjeba Torsa
Rafah Nanjeba Torsa (born 9 September 1998) is a Bangladeshi actress, tv host and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss World Bangladesh 2019. She represented Bangladesh at Miss World 2019. Biography Torsa's father, Sheikh Morshed, was a lawyer and her mother, Sharmina Akter, is a housewife. Her father died in 2014. She has a younger brother. Torsa is an artist; a trained bharatanatyam and kathak dancer; a theatre artist, mime artist, reciter, and singer. From the age of 11, she's been working as a volunteer in the Lions Clubs International as a "LEO." Miss World 2019, the 69th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 14 December 2019 at the ExCeL London in London, United Kingdom. Vanessa Ponce of Mexico crowned her successor Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica at the end of the event.
