Oriflame Miss Universe Nepal 2021, the 2nd annual Miss Universe Nepal beauty pageant, was held on 30 October 2021 at Hotel Yak & Yeti in Kathmandu. Anshika Sharma crowned Sujita Basnet as Miss Universe Nepal to represent Nepal in Miss Universe 2021. The winner of Miss Universe Nepal 2021 received NPR Rs. 1,000,000 as prize for winning the title as well as full support from the organizer of Miss Universe Nepal, Umanga Creation Pvt. Ltd. for her BBB (Brave, Bold and Beautiful) Social Advocacy. Image Channel broadcast the pageant live and for all the Nepalese abroad. Miss Universe Nepal 2021 was also live streamed on Youtube. Sujita Basnet
Sujita Basnet ( ne, सुजिता बस्नेत) (born 10 May 1993) is an American-Nepalese beauty pageant titleholder, social worker and management consultant who participated in many beauty pageants from 2011 to 2021. She was crowned as Miss Universe Nepal 2021. She represented Nepal at Miss Universe 2021. She was also the first runner up to Miss Universe Nepal 2020. She worked at many social organizations in the USA and became a well-known social worker. Early life Sujita Basnet was born in Maryland to single mother Reena Karki and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal by her grandparents until the age of 5 while her mother was completing her studies in the United States. Miss Supranational 2022 was the 13th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant, held on 15 July 2022, at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland.
