Miss Rondônia
Miss Rondônia is a Brazilian Beauty pageant which selects the representative for the State of Rondônia at the Miss Brazil contest. The pageant was created in 1964 and has been held every year since with the exception of 1954–1963, 1969, 1977–1978, 1990, 1991, 1993, and 2020. The pageant is held annually with representation of several municipalities. Since 2023, the State Director of Miss Rondônia is Eletícia Dias. Beauty Pageant
A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. The term beauty pageant refers originally to the Big Four international beauty pageants. Pageant titles are subdivided into Miss, Mrs. or Ms., and Teen – to clearly identify the difference between pageant divisions. Hundreds and thousands of beauty contests are held annually, but the Big Four are considered the most prestigious, widely covered and broadcast by media. Miss Brazil 2015
Miss Brazil 2015 ( pt, Miss Brasil 2015), officially Miss Brazil Be Emotion 2015 ( pt, Miss Brasil Be Emotion 2015), was the 61st edition of the Miss Brazil pageant. It was held on 18 November 2015 at Citibank Hall in São Paulo, and was hosted by Cássio Reis and Mariana Weickert. Melissa Gurgel of Ceará crowned her successor Marthina Brandt of Rio Grande do Sul at the end of the event. Brandt represented Brazil at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant and placed in the Top 15. Miss Brazil 2004 ( pt, Miss Brasil 2004) was the 50th edition of the Miss Brazil pageant. It was held on 15 April 2004 at Credicard Hall in São Paulo, São Paulo State, Brazil and was hosted by Nayla Micherif and Gustavo Gianetti with Thiago Mansur, Astrid Fontenelle, Fernando Scherer, Sabrina Parlatore, Luciana Curtis, and Isabella Fiorentino all as commentators. Gislaine Ferreira, who is originally from Minas Gerais but competed as Miss Tocantins, crowned her successor Fabiane Niclotti of Rio Grande do Sul at the end of the event. The Miss Brazil 2011, the 57th edition of the Miss Brazil pageant, was held in São Paulo on July 23, 2011. The winner was Priscila Machado, who went on to represent Brazil in the 2011 Miss Universe pageant. The 1st runner-up went on to and the 2nd runner-up participated in Miss Continente Americano 2011.
