Miss Rio Grande Do Norte
Miss Rio Grande do Norte is a Brazilian Beauty pageant which selects the representative for the State of Rio Grande do Norte at the Miss Brazil contest. The pageant was created in 1955 and has been held every year since with the exception of 1990–1991, 1993, and 2020. The pageant is held annually with representation of several municipalities. Since 2011, the State director for Miss Rio Grande do Norte is George Azevêdo. Rio Grande do Norte has won two crowns in the national contest. Beauty Pageant
A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. The term beauty pageant refers originally to the Big Four international beauty pageants. Pageant titles are subdivided into Miss, Mrs. or Ms., and Teen – to clearly identify the difference between pageant divisions. Hundreds and thousands of beauty contests are held annually, but the Big Four are considered the most prestigious, widely covered and broadcast by media. Miss Brazil 2017
Miss Brazil 2017 ( pt, Miss Brasil 2017), officially Miss Brazil Be Emotion 2017 ( pt, Miss Brasil Be Emotion 2017), was the 63rd edition of the Miss Brazil pageant. It was held on 19 August 2017 at the Vermelhos Theater in Ilhabela, São Paulo, Brazil and was hosted by Cássio Reis with Rayza Nicácio as a backstage correspondent. Raissa Santana of Paraná crowned her successor Monalysa Alcântara of Piauí at the end of the event. Alcântara represented Brazil at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant and placed in the Top 10. Miss Brazil 2009 ( pt, Miss Brasil 2009) was the 55th edition of the Miss Brazil pageant. It was held on 9 May 2009 at the Latin American Memorial Complex in São Paulo, São Paulo State, Brazil and was hosted by Nayla Micherif and Renata Fan. Miss Brazil 2011
The Miss Brazil 2011, the 57th edition of the Miss Brazil pageant, was held in São Paulo on July 23, 2011. The winner was Priscila Machado, who went on to represent Brazil in the 2011 Miss Universe pageant. The 1st runner-up went on to and the 2nd runner-up participated in Miss Continente Americano 2011.
