Miss Indonesia 2016
Miss Indonesia 2016 is the 12th edition of the Miss Indonesia pageant. It was held on February 24, 2016, at Studio 14th RCTI, Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta, Indonesia. Miss World 2015, Mireia Lalaguna of Spain attended the awarding night. Maria Harfanti as Miss Indonesia 2015 from Yogyakarta Special Region crowned her successor, Natasha Mannuela Halim from Bangka-Belitung Islands. She represented Indonesia in Miss World 2016. Miss Indonesia is a national beauty pageant in Indonesia, organized by MNC Group under Miss Indonesia Organization, chaired by Liliana Tanoesoedibjo and sponsored by Sariayu Martha Tilaar. The Riau Islands ( id, Kepulauan Riau) is a province of Indonesia. It comprises a total of 1,796 islands scattered between Sumatra, Malay Peninsula, and Borneo including the Riau Archipelago. Miss World 2016
Miss World 2016, the 66th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on December 18, 2016 at the MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Maryland, United States. 117 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Mireia Lalaguna of Spain crowned her successor Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico at the end of the event. It was the second time that the Miss World pageant held in the United States. It was the second time where Puerto Rico won Miss World, after Wilnelia Merced in 1975.
