Miss Grand Laos 2017
Miss Grand Laos 2017 ( lo, ມີສແກຣນລາວ 2017) was the inaugural edition of the Miss Grand Laos beauty pageant, held on July 15, 2017, at the ITECC Shopping Mall in the district of Xaysetha, Vientiane. Seventeen candidates who qualified for the national stage through an audition competed for the right to represent the country at Miss Grand International 2017, and an eighteen-year-old Psychologist student from Vientiane, Chinnally Nolasing, was named the winner and received a cash prize of ₭N50 million kip as the reward. Nolasing then took part in the aforementioned international pageant in Vietnam, where she was placed among the top 20 finalists. In addition to the main winner, all pageant runners-up were assigned to represent the country at other international contests, including Miss International 2017, Miss Supranational 2017, and Miss China-Asean Etiquette. Miss Supranational 2017
Miss Supranational 2017 was the ninth Miss Supranational pageant. It was held on December 1, 2017, at MOSIR Arena in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland. Srinidhi Shetty of India crowned Jenny Kim of Korea at the end of the event. She is the first winner from South Korea and the win is the first major title for her country. Contestants from 65 countries and territories competed in this year's Miss Supranational pageant, The pageant was hosted by Davina Reeves and Iwan Podriez. Miss International 2017
Miss International 2017, the 57th Miss International pageant, was held on November 14, 2017 at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Kylie Verzosa of the Philippines crowned her successor Kevin Lilliana of Indonesia at the end of the event. This edition also saw the crowning of the first ever moslem women to win Miss International, and was the first to win one of the four major international pageants for Indonesia. The show was hosted by Tetsuya Bessho on his fourth consecutive year. Amy Ota co-hosted the event, with a performance by Chemistry.
