Miss Grand International 2019
Miss Grand International 2019 was the seventh edition of Miss Grand International pageant, was held on October 25, 2019, at Poliedro de Caracas in Caracas, Venezuela, where for the first time in the pageant history the host country delegate won the crown. The nineteen-year-old Valentina Figuera was the first Venezuelan representative to win the title since the establishment of the contest. As was normal for the event, she was crowned by her immediate predecessor, Clara Sosa of Paraguay. Contestants from 60 countries and territories participated in this year's pageant, with a new crown created by Venezuelan jewelry designer George Wittels, the official jewelry sponsor of the Miss Grand International Organization. Lourdes Valentina Figuera Morales (born 16 June 2000) is a Venezuelan model and beauty queen who represented Venezuela at Miss Grand International 2019 where she won the title. She is the first Venezuelan woman to win the Miss Grand International title. Personal life Figuera was born in Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela on June 16, 2000 with her twin sister, Verónica. Body shaming is the action or inaction of subjecting someone to humiliation and criticism for their bodily features.
