Miss Grand International 2019
Miss Grand International 2019 was the seventh edition of Miss Grand International pageant, was held on October 25, 2019, at Poliedro de Caracas in Caracas, Venezuela, where for the first time in the pageant history the host country delegate won the crown. The nineteen-year-old Valentina Figuera was the first Venezuelan representative to win the title since the establishment of the contest. As was normal for the event, she was crowned by her immediate predecessor, Clara Sosa of Paraguay. Contestants from 60 countries and territories participated in this year's pageant, with a new crown created by Venezuelan jewelry designer George Wittels, the official jewelry sponsor of the Miss Grand International Organization. However, Security concerns in Venezuela and visa regulation problems caused many representatives to drop out of the contest.
