Miss Grand Cuba
Miss Grand Cuba is a national title given to a woman chosen to represent Cuba at the Miss Grand International pageant. The first titleholder was a Mexican-Cuban model from Sinaloa, Jamillette Gaxiola, who was appointed by the Miss Cuba organization to compete at the inaugural edition of the mentioned international contest in Thailand, where she was ranked in the final 10. Since then, Cuba has always sent their representatives to compete every year; however, most of them were appointed to the position without organizing the respective pageant until 2022, when a Miami-based Cuban pageant, Miss y Mister Cuba, acquired the license and the Miss Grand Cuba titleholder was elected through such a contest. Daryanne Lees Garcia (born 25 December 1986 in San Juan, Puerto Rico ) is a Cuban- Puerto Rican beauty queen who represented Cuba at Miss Grand International 2014 where she won the title. Personal life Lees was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico in December 1986 to a Puerto Rican mother and Cuban father. She later relocated to Miami, Florida. Miss Grand International 2019 was the seventh edition of Miss Grand International pageant, was held on October 25, 2019, at Poliedro de Caracas in Caracas, Venezuela, where for the first time in the pageant history the host country delegate won the crown. The nineteen-year-old Valentina Figuera was the first Venezuelan representative to win the title since the establishment of the contest. Miss Earth USA (formerly Miss Earth United States) is an annual beauty pageant which selects the United States representative to Miss Earth which is an annual international beauty pageant promoting environmental awareness. The current titleholder is Natalia Salmon from Pennsylvania.
