FC Mordovia Saransk (russian: ФК Мордовия Саранск) is a Russian association football club from Saransk, Republic of Mordovia. In its current state it was formed in 2005, through the merge of Biokhimik-Mordovia and Lisma-Mordovia. History The club was founded in 1961. In 2010, the club won promotion to the Russian First Division. On 8 May 2012, Mordovia beat Shinnik Yaroslavl 2–0 at home. This result meant that with a round to spare the team won promotion to the Russian Premier League for the 2012–13 season for the first time in its history. 2019–20 Russian Football National League
The 2019–20 Russian Football National League was the 28th season of Russia's second-tier football league since the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The season began on 7 July 2019 and ended on 15 May 2020 (last games were played on 15 March). Summary On 17 March 2020, the league was suspended until 10 April 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Russia. On 1 April 2020, Russian Football Union extended the suspension until 31 May 2020. On 15 April 2020, FC Armavir dropped out of the competition due to lack of financing necessary to acquire the license for the 2020–21 season. The Russian First League (russian: Первая лига, Pervaya liga), formerly called Russian First Division (russian: Первый дивизион) and Russian Football National League (FNL) (russian: Первенство Футбольной Национальной Лиги, Pervenstvo Futbol'noy Natsional'noy Ligi) is the second level of the Russian football league system. The 2014–15 FC Lokomotiv Moscow season was the club's 23rd season in the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Russia. Lokomotiv Moscow also takes part in the Russian Cup and the Europa League. Season review On 17 September 2014, Leonid Kuchuk resigned from the manager post after deterioration of his relationships with players. The next day Igor Cherevchenko was appointed as the club's caretaker manager. The 2013–14 season Lokomotiv Moscow's was 12th season in the Russian Premier League, and their 22nd consecutive season in the top-flight of the Russian football championship since the dissolution of the Soviet Union. This is Leonid Kuchuk's first season in charge after taking over from Slaven Bilić, who was sacked at the end of the previous season following Lokomotiv's worst ever performance in the Russian Premier League since the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
