Miriam Azevedo de Almeida Leitão (born 7 April 1953) is a Brazilian journalist and television presenter. She has a program at GloboNews and is a commentator on economics at TV Globo's Bom Dia Brasil and writes the column ''Panorama Econômico'' in the newspaper O Globo. Life and career Leitão was born in Caratinga, Minas Gerais, to Dona Mariana and Reverendo Uriel de Almeida Leitão. She has a degree in Journalism from Universidade de Brasília. She started her career in Vitória, Espírito Santo, and worked at several news outlets, on print, radio and television, such as ''Gazeta Mercantil'', ''Jornal do Brasil'', ''Veja'', '' O Estado de S. Caratinga
Caratinga is a Municipalities of Brazil, municipality in eastern Minas Gerais state, Brazil. The population in 2020 was 92,603 inhabitants and the total area of the municipality was 1,251 km2. The elevation is 578 meters above sea level, with maximum elevation of 1,516 m in the Serra do Rio Preto and 330 m at the mouth of the Córrego Boachá. Location The municipality is located at 19° 37’ 30’’ latitude south and at 42° 09’ 00’’ longitude west. It is part of Region VIII, denominated Rio Doce, and part of the microregion of Mata de Caratinga, in the eastern part of Minas Gerais. ''Jornal Hoje'' is a news program aired by the Brazilian television broadcaster TV Globo. The program is broadcast in the early afternoon from Monday to Saturday as part of a news block that also includes '' Praça TV'' and '' Globo Esporte''. It is currently presented by César Tralli. Dilma Vana Rousseff (; born 14 December 1947) is a Brazilian economist and politician who served as the 36th president of Brazil, holding the position from 2011 until her impeachment and removal from office on 31 August 2016.
