Minda Poochakku Kalyanam
''Minda Poochakku Kalyanam'' is a 1990 Indian Malayalam-language film, directed by Alleppey Ashraf, starring Suresh Gopi and Lissy Priyadarsan in the lead roles. The film is a remake of Hindi film ''Chitchor'' (1976). Plot Balaraman Pillai (Sankaradi) is a well-to-do villager living in Kuttanadu. He and his wife Sarasamma (Sukumari) are looking for a suitable alliance for their younger daughter Mini ( Lissy Priyadarsan). Balaraman Pillai receives a letter from his son-in-law, Ayyappan Kutty, living in Madras informing that an engineer named Kumar from his company is arriving in the village to oversee a construction project. Bobby Kottarakkara
Bobby Kottarakkara (11 March 1952 – 3 December 2000) was an Indian actor who acted in Malayalam films. He was born to Pareedkunju Ravuthar in Kottarakkara. He began his acting career on stage. He made his film debut with Mucheettukalikkaarante Makal. Bobby soon became a well-known actor. He performed in around 300 roles in a variety of films, some of which are such as Mazhavilkavadi, ''Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu'', ''Golanthara Vartha'', ''Kaazhchakkappuram'' and ''Chithram''. He also acted in several TV serials. It was during the filming of ''Vakkalathu Narayanankutty'' that Bobby died of a massive heart attack in December 2000. Sukumari Amma (6 October 1940 – 26 March 2013) was an Indian actress best known for her works in Malayalam and Tamil films. Chandrashekaran Menon, better known by his screen name Sankaradi (14 July 1924 – 8 October 2001), was an Indian actor. He was a veteran Malayalam comedian and character artist, who had over 700 Malayalam films to his credit. He dominated the Malayalam film scene in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s as a comedian along with Adoor Bhasi and Bahadoor. Later, he switched to character roles.
