Mimoun Mahi
Mimoun Mahi (born 13 March 1994) is a professional footballer who plays as a winger for club De Graafschap. He formerly played for Sparta Rotterdam, Groningen, Zürich, Utrecht and Cambuur. Born in the Netherlands, he represents Morocco at international level. Club career Mahi helped FC Groningen win the KNVB Cup in 2014–15 against defending champions PEC Zwolle. It was their first major trophy and they qualified for the UEFA Europa League. In February 2019, Swiss Super League side FC Zürich announced Mahi would join the club from FC Groningen in summer 2019 having agreed a three-year contract. After one year in Switzerland, Mahi returned to the Netherlands, where he signed a four-year contract with FC Utrecht. On 17 January 2023, Mahi joined Cambuur on loan for the rest of the season. FC Groningen
Football Club Groningen () is a Dutch professional association football club based in Groningen, province of Groningen. Founded on 16 June 1971 as the successor of GVAV, the team compete in the Eredivisie, the highest tier of Dutch football. Groningen played their inaugural season in the Eredivisie, before the side were relegated to the Eerste Divisie in 1973–74 as they got into financial difficulties. The Eredivisie (; ''"Honour Division"'' or ''"Premier Division"'') is the highest level of professional football in the Netherlands. The league was founded in 1956, two years after the start of professional football in the Netherlands. It is considered one of the best European leagues. The Eerste Divisie (, en, First Division) is the second-highest tier of football in the Netherlands. It is linked with the top-level Eredivisie and with the third-level Tweede Divisie via promotion/relegation systems. It is also known as the Keuken Kampioen Divisie due to sponsorship, while previously it was known as Jupiler League for the same reason.
