Mikheil Kakhiani
Mikheil Kakhiani ( ka, მიხეილ კახიანი; 1896 – December, 1937) was a Soviet and Georgian politician. He served as First Secretary of the Georgian Communist Party from August 1924 to May 1930. A strong supporter of Joseph Stalin, Kakhiani ensured that after the 1924 August Uprising there would be no dissent from Georgia towards the Bolsheviks. He launched the collectivization of Georgian farms in 1931 and farmers were relocated to state-run farms while their produce, farming tools, and fields were destroyed. Those who resisted were deported to Siberia. Along with the party leadership, he also directed the cruel suppression of rebels and personally witnessed the execution of prisoners such as the shooting of Menshevik prisoners at Tbilisi. In 1937 he was shot as part of the Great Purge. Prince Mikheil "Mikhako" G. Tsereteli also known as Michael von Zereteli ( ka, მიხეილ "მიხაკო" წერეთელი) (December 23, 1878 – March 2, 1965) was a Georgian prince, historian, philologist, sociologist and public benefactor. He was born in 1878, in a village Tskhrukveti (Imereti region of Western Georgia). His father was Prince Giorgi Tsereteli. His brother Vasil Tsereteli (1862-1938) was a famous Georgian physician, writer and public benefactor. In 1911 Mikheil Tsereteli graduated from Heidelberg University (Germany), and received a PhD degree in history in 1913. From 1914 to 1918, he was associate professor at Berlin University and Chairman of the Committee of Independent Georgia. Mikheil Asatiani (10 May 1882 in Tbilisi – 20 January 1938 in Tbilisi) was a prominent Georgian psychiatrist, one of the founders of scientific psychiatry in Georgia. He graduated from Moscow State University in 1907 and began work at the psychiatric clinic in Moscow. He eventually became head of the Department of Psychiatry of the Tbilisi State University in 1921 and served on the editorial board of the journal Psikhoterapia. In 1925, he established and headed until his death the Psychiatric Research Institute in Tbilisi, which posthumously was named after him. He directed hundreds of scientific researches and produced some 40 works on clinical psychiatry and psychotherapy. He is an author of original method of "reproductive experiences". Mikheil Kajaia ( ka, მიხეილ ქაჯაია; sr-cyr, Михаил Каџаја, Mihail Kadžaja) is a Georgian-born Serbian Greco-Roman wrestler. Career Representing Georgia, Kajaia participated in the 2013 Summer Universiade and he won the bronze medal in the 96 kg event. He was part of the Georgian Wrestling Team at the 2015 European Games but lost to Italian Daigoro Timoncini at the 1/8 finals. In 2017, Kajaia started to wrestle for Serbia. He entered the 2017 European Wrestling Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia but defeated by the Olympic champion Artur Aleksanyan in the second round.
